Dr. Feldman is a Denver native who had always dreamed of being a cowboy and working cattle and horses. After high school, he spent 3 years milking cows in Israel before returning to Colorado. Dr. Feldman received his Masters’s in Animal Nutrition from CSU in 1983 and then graduated with his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1987. After vet school, Dr. Feldman spent a year in Beersheva, Israel where he treated local dogs and cats as well as Bedouin sheep and camels as an associate at the Desert Research Institute of Ben Gurion University. Veterinary Technician

Autumn

Autumn

Licensed Vet Tech

Hi, I’m Autumn! I’m a Virginia native who just recently moved to Denver. I received my B.S. in Biology in 2019 and shortly after, received my license in veterinary technology in 2021. I am currently certified in Colorado as well as Virginia. I’ve worked in the veterinary/animal field since 2016. During that time, I found that I absolutely love working with exotics. I received most of my experience working with them at my last clinic in Virginia. In my free time, I love spending time with my dog, Jack, and going on adventures with him!

Vet Tech

Hi, my name is James. I’m a recent graduate from PIMA with a degree in veterinary technology and will soon sit for my licensing exam in the state of Colorado. I own many exotics ranging from a snake to Guinea pigs. While I love dogs and cats, I enjoy working with exotics the most. I hope to get even more experience caring for them while working at VetCare Animal Hospital.

Jo

Certified Vet Tech

Hi my name is Jo and I love what I do! Ever since I was a little girl I knew I wanted to work with animals. As many of you have heard me say, “I like my animals more than most people”. I graduated from the University of Nebraska School of Technical Agriculture in 1977 with an associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology and from there started my first job working with small animals and exotics. I have been working with Dr. Feldman at Vetcare for over 20 years; how time flies! I enjoy just about anything that is outdoors—walking, horseback riding, hiking, gardening, and especially camping with my husband Tom, my boys Peter and Philip, and my 7 grandchildren. I also love to sing and have participated in many worship teams at church, cantatas and have sung my fair share of solos. I am excited about what lies ahead at Vetcare and look forward to continuing to serve you and your pets!

Louie

Clinic Cat

Louie joined the team at VetCare in 2015 after being picked on by other cats in his household. Louie “works” Monday – Friday and spends the weekends with a good friend of Dr. Feldman’s. While at work Louie can be found lounging in his cat tower, greeting our clients at the front desk, saying hello to the canine friends, and being sassy to the feline friends visiting our hospital. Every morning he does his best to convince us he’s starving and needs treats for breakfast, copious amounts of treats.
